Trying

I have to try so hard now. I feel like its only getting harder. My school work just does not seem so important. My friends seem so distant, but really its me who is distant. Do I need to try harder? I feel like I am trying so hard but it wont make a difference.

I did get to see some old friends today. It was good to see them. We have been though so much the three of us. Some things include: middle school, high school gym, abusive parents, boyfriends, and pregnant classmates. These are the friends who they were talking about when they said "true friends." I am glad to have them, and I know even though we attend different colleges now we will forever be connected.

Mean while I just want to give a shout out to you my grandpa. One of the nicest guys I know, and probably the kindest as well. I'll be here when you get back tonight like you have been for me so many times.
