To become a recluse, would it be all that bad? Could I live like my long time friend once did. She died years ago but I can still feel her soul in her words. She was not so much different from me. Raised catholic, but not sure thats what she believed. Sounds a bit like me. Then the fact that she went home at first to care for her family, some say differently. That she was afraid and heartbroken by the world around her, so she cut herself off. Sounds a bit like me. She was not considered great in life though, but in death we all bow down to her greatness. Will this be me? Should I just return now before my heart becomes even more shattered to a place where I can sit with just a simple pen in hand. Never to experience the world outside my brain.

To be a permanent recluse would have you missing out on all the things you should do to enjoy life. You'd miss out on meeting someone special, marrying, and raising a family of your own one day - you'd miss out on the white picket fence and a dog, too.
Although occasional recluse times are nice, just not on a permanent basis. ((hugs))
Ditto to what Betsy said. And now you have a little one who is going to look up to his godmother.
It's good to step away, we all have to do it. Like Betsy said, not permanently.
I agree with Betsy and Chris Stef.
You have too much to offer the world. And you are a godmother. I too love a day away for me, but then I have too much to do and I take my day and then I get on with life. We need you little buddy so take a day every once in while and then return to us....love ya
Thank You for my new Blogger Heading Graphic! I LOVE it! You are just made out of pure talent, my dear!
The World would miss out on You. I vote "NO" no reclusive action!
Nite Sweetie!
Even being a recluse would not end your pain. It would just make you miss out on all the wonderful things waiting for you in life.
ditto everyone's comment!
Ditto what everyone else said. You have a lot to offer this world. Being a recluse would cheat a lot of people out there. ;)
Being a part time recluse is not al bad. i spent summers all alone, it was an education by itself.
Full time, not for you either, really.
We all love you Stef.
