she passed last night after my uncle got there. mom called me a few hours ago. she begged me to stay and finish my exam. i guess thats what i will do.

i too am so sorry for your loss stef. please know that all of us here truly know how difficult it is to loose someone we love. try and take comfort in that she is no longer suffering and is happy and whole again.

Me too Stef! Please try to remember the good times, and how your Nonna was before she got this dreaded Disease, because that is how she is now, happy & whole again. It is our God's promise to us all, I wish I knew the exact Scripture, but I am sure it is true.
Do not throw your hands up with your life, your test, your family. You are a passionate & talented young lady, and you will be driven again towards an important goal, and your Nonna will be rooting you along, from Heaven!
And try to remember, you may not be able to pick your Family, but you can hand-pick your friends! And you have many!
Study hard, and make her proud!
